First Unit

The books for my first unit got here today, didn't take long at all. They just shipped on Friday. I have read through the first section on line and am reading through it for the second time. I am planning on taking my first test on Wed. The second book already goes into the health and fitness aspect of it. This should be interesting. I would really like to plan on finishing a unit a week but find that highly unlikely considering how detailed it looks. I think I will know more once I get into the second module of it. Hopefully that won't be to long.

I am a student again, how weird is that.

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean.
She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says: “There, she is gone!””Gone where?”Gone from my sight.
That is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says: “There, she is gone!” there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: ‘Here she comes!”
And that is dying.

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will. When the road you're trudging seems all uphill. When funds are low and the debts are high. And you want to smile, but you have to sigh.
