Just because..

Note to self.

Just because it's Christmas and..
Just because it's there...
Doesn't mean you have to eat it!

Remember, there will be more food later or tomorrow.

You are not starving. You did not have to eat everything you ate yesterday and you do not have to eat everything again today. There is more food, there will be more food.

Just because you want it and can eat it doesn't mean you should!

Just because you did not gain any weight this entire year doesn't mean you need to eat all the creme puffs, cookies and candies you want.

Just because it's Christmas does not make it okay to overeat

Well, I am mad at myself. We took the camera to my parents last night and never took a picture. Not one! Not anyone. We will be sorry for that someday and I already am.

I am the same weight today as I was on January 1, 2010. Considering the average person gains 2 pounds a year I guess that is a good thing, however, considering I wanted to lose weight that isn't so good.

On a brighter note, I do not need to eat everything in the house right now, just because its there. We will still have food come tomorrow. I noticed when we moved to the kitchen last night at our house we all sat and munched just because it was on the table. Mindless eating. I preach against it!

Chocoholic

Hi, My name is Peggi and I am a Chocoholic. I know that a small portion of dark chocolate is good for you. That isn't the problem. However, the two or three small candy bars, the handful of chocolate covered almonds, or the chocolate covered cherries are. I am trying so hard to reduce the body fat, and to lose the belly. I love working out and that is not a problem either. However, the chocolate is the problem.

I think I either have to give it up completely or find a way to just limit it and stick to it.

Going to try severly limiting it and see how that goes.
